Columbine Lake Country Club is a private homeowners association in Grand Lake, Colorado with a 40 surface acre natural lake. We have 609 lots with 401 homes which adjoin Rocky Mountain National Park and the Grand Lake Golf Course. Columbine Lake area was originally a part of the Harbison Ranch, dating back to the 1880's. The large open meadows on the left side of Highway 34 as you pass through the Rocky Mountain National Park gates are still called the "Harbison Meadows". The old spring wagon on the clubhouse lawn was purchased new in 1885 by the Harbisons. It was built by the Studebaker Corporation, which later manufactured automobiles. The hand hewn logs now used as landscaping around the clubhouse are all that remains of the fish hatchery building that stood near the north end of the lake. On the east beach, are parts of several old wagons and other relics dating back to that period. The central part of the recreation building (currently the office) is the original log cabin built in the 1890's, and used later as a lodge for the fishing resort. Columbine Lake Country Club, Inc. was subdivided and developed in 1969 and 1970. To Contact Us:P. O. Box 714 Grand Lake, CO 80447 Phone: 970-627-8120 Fax: 970-627-3313 Email: office@columbinelake.com
